CAPTAIN’S PROMISE
Captain Colby Kramer is a second generation fisherman in the coastal bend area. Growing up fishing with his father led Colby to begin guiding in the Aransas Bay. Colby is also an active member of the Coastal Bend Guide Association so he can continue gaining knowledge to improve his clients’ experiences. He enjoys sharing his passion with all his clients and will work to ensure you have the best possible experience on the water.
BOAT DETAILS
Your adventure starts on an 2023 22’ Transport equipped with a Suzuki 250 SS, GPS, live well, and twin eight foot power poles. This ensures you’ll safely navigate the bay and be able to anchor down sufficiently before hooking up a big catch. Life jackets are also on board in both children and adult sizes.

“What a great experience. I screened a lot of guide services based upon how they respond to people and bios and we picked Colby because of that and we figured he is young and ambitious. Boy, were we right. He lives it and loves it. Very modest and experienced and has very competitive pricing. Our day started out slow but Colby made a personal attempt to make sure we had a great time. He got us on the fish and we ended our day with a school of beltfed black drum. Solid dude. “This was our second fishing trip with Colby. First time we caught our limit of redfish within about 3 hours. Yesterday we were targeting trout since the redfish weren’t biting lately. And we nearly caught our limit again. So he knows where to go and what to use to catch the fish that are biting. He works great with kids and me who dont know much about fishing. Im looking forward to booking Colby again next year during my annual trip to Port A.”
